Words of a broken mind and heart
Condemned and shunned,
My mind can function no longer.
Battered and bruised,
Like life at the battle field
It can fight no further.
A heart as tender as grass,
Can’t seem to take any hurt.
Even with the elevation of class,
One can only be as broken as glass.
Beauty is said to be in the eye of the beholder,
Seems to me words of a true heart raider.
For us, beauty seems to be radiant,
To drag down my esteem,
And say you’re making me feel supreme.
It only takes a matter of time,
Before you truly see.
